Recordzilla

Recordzilla is a capture utility that allows you to record all the video and audio that is taking place on your screen, and then save it as an AVI, WMV, SWF or FLV file.

The program allows you to record the entire desktop, just the active window, or a specific portion of the screen. It also gives you the ability to record your mouse movement, certain menus, and even games.

When recording sound, Recordzilla allows you to combine the video with audio directly from the microphone (ideal for audio tutorials), or simply record what is playing from the computer's speakers.

Other program features allow you to add the date and time to the videos you record, program recordings so they always start at a specific time, use various keyboard shortcuts, and adjust the output resolution and video quality.

Recordzilla is a very useful tool for creating tutorial videos, presentations, demonstrations, etcetera. What's more, it allows you to easily record any conversation on Skype, MSN Messenger, or any other instant messaging program that has video.
